Moses and LaShunda Smith

Married for more than 25 years...

Moses and LaShunda Smith joyously pour into the lives of married couples, encouraging them to draw closer to God as they seek to draw closer to one another. The Smiths are certified SYMBIS facilitators who have counseled many couples seeking to break generational curses. Together, the couple teaches premarital and marital classes covering conflict resolution, money matters, sexual intimacy, and much more.

 

Committed to God and their community, LaShunda and Moses graciously serve as the Elders at Glory House International and lead the Marriage Ministry. Together, they are blessed to share their life’s journey with their two adult children, Branden and Myanna.

SYMBIS Course Investment

Thriving couples proactively invest in each other and in their marriages. An investment of time and resources will help to build a strong foundation for a lasting and healthy relationship. The investment for the SYMBIS course is priceless compared to what you will gain to help you build a healthy marriage.

 

Each SYMBIS course includes eight classes. The investment for this course is $280 ($35 per couple per class). Although the course is FREE to GHI members, there is an investment of $100 for the assessment, workbooks, and course supplies.

The next in-person course begins Saturday, March 16th, and runs for eight (8) consecutive Saturdays (March 16th, March 23rd, March 30, April 6, April 13, April 20, April 27, and May 4). The classes will be held at Glory House International, located at 111 N. Chestnut Street, in the conference room (lower level) from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

 

This spring we will be offering a hybrid option for couples who are located outside of Rochester, NY.

I acknowledge that the SYMBIS course is built on Christian principles and will be taught from a faith-based perspective. Moses and LaShunda Smith are ordained ministers whose Christian faith guides the strategies that will be shared throughout the course. I am aware of and ok with biblical scripture and prayer being incorporated into this eight-week course. Both my spouse and I have discussed the course and are in full agreement to attend all sessions together and complete assignments in an effort to grow closer to one another and build a healthy foundation for marriage.

We understand and acknowledge that all payments for the course are nonrefundable. We agree to pay the deposit (or full payment for GHI members) to hold our spot in the course. Final payment is due one week prior to the start of the course.
